How to make friends with this person?

Ok so I have been going to school with this girl for awhile now and I really want to make friends wit her but I don't know how. I am very shy I only have one friend I have been friends with her sence kindergarden but she can be a pain some times (like moody allot) So I want another friend also but how can I make friends with her? Don't say to tell her oh hi how are you cuz stuff like that has never worked, this girl has always been nice to me, and I think she would be a good friend. How can I make friends with her with out feeling like a idiot?

ps we are 13 and gonna be in the 8th grade thats our age level

Well the best thing you can do is to complement her clothes. Don't sound like you want to be her lover, just say hey I like your...okay maybe complement accessories cause if you say you like her pants it means you were looking at her butt and if you say shirt it means you were looking at her ta-tas. Remember to smile and groom yourself well cause all people see their friends as a reflection of self.

Then after that try to get her to notice you more and more, try to joke around with her, but not at other peoples expense cause then you look petty. Joke about school rules or something.

Then just keep the communication lines open. Try to make more friends than just her to make yourself seem like a desirable friend.
