My friends think im anorexic but its not just them its other people to.?

Most of my friends think i am anorexic but i think im a bit fat. I know im not really fat but when i look in the mirror all i see is this big blob. But it's not just my friends who think i'm to skinny. My friends friends also think i'm to skinny. Like when i go to my friends house and her other friend is there they usually go "Oh my god you are soo skinny! Are you anorexic?"



I dont think i am but when everyone says i am i'm not so sure and i think i have most of the symptoms.



What should i do ?? Please help!

There are 5 stages to anorexia which I speak from experience.



The first stage is denial whihc was waht you were going through or somewhat still are.



The second stage is acceptance and this is where you seek help but even in this stage there is some denial.



The third stage is partial recover. In this stage you get a bit better but you get all those anxious feeling and fear of excess weight gain.



The fourth Stage is Relapse. This is where you fall a step back and go back to your old habits. Not everyone goes through this stage but it happens quite often. Its easier to give up because recovery is a long and tough process.



The final stage is full recovery with normal weight and thoughts, attitudes toward body image and food.



So yo see where you are. Yo need to go through all this steps and you cannot do it alone. You need your parents and a specialist whom you can trust and talk to. That specialist has all the expertise and can give you the help and support you require. Also join some forums for recovering anorexics for some supposrt and you will see that you are not alone iin what you do with food and exercise.

you probably are. If everyone else thinks you are skinny and you think you are fat, you likely have some sort of eating disorder. There is a whlie spectrum. You are likely EDNOS...eating disorder not otherwise specified. I think you need to talk to a school nurse or counselor.
Try eating 3 square meals a day at least, Speak to a doctor or nathropath about it.



And get ride of your mirror.
i would talk to your mom and even maybe a doctor...if u are anorexic its better to stop it early before you start to lose a lot of weight or before you end up in a hospital or even possibly dead!!! hope i could help!
Well you have the major psychological problem associated with anorexia. No matter how you look YOU will see yourself as fat or not skinny enough. If you starve yourself as well, then I think you are anorexic. Get help.
go see a doctor and they will tell you if you are healthy or not

I just tell them I'm not! And if they don't believe me then I don't really care. I know I'm not and thats all that matters.

Anorexia really isnt about being being skinny. In my opinion its about how you see food and not being happy with your body no matter what shape your in. There are many overweight anorexics out there too, people who have a negative realtionship with food etc. Who are constantly dieting and thinking about food, their lives tend to revolve around food and trying to avoid it - anorexia is really really complicated. Some people are just naturally thin, i think that people should think twice before calling someone anorexic.

Think about what you eat in a day, would you say that it's about average, honestly? Or are you eating "like a bird" and just eating tiny portions? Anorexics usually consume less then 500 calories per day. The average female needs about 1200 - 1500 calories per day. If you are eating at lot less then that, then you may be anorexic.



You did provide you height, weight or size, so I don't know exactly how skinny you are, but some people are naturally skinny. If you are concerned that you may be anorexic, please go see a doctor. Anorexia is a potentially deadly disease that can stop your period, make your hair fall out and shut down your organs.
