Havent made any friends?

I got to fredonia. I transfered here from JCC and am now a JR. Ive always had friends but the problem is it seems i havent had to make friends from the start like i having to now in a very long time. It has always been u have a friend then two the three etc. I havent had a roomate stay (one was offered a single the other was kicked outta school) so i havent really had the option of having that start to make friends. Im in my 2nd semester now and really have no friends it kinda sucks i have people i speak to but none are really friends. How do i make friends cus this sucks!!!!

how did you make friends in high school? did you play sports, in a club? school activities? thats the best place to start find something you like to do like the art gallery at school or the gym. then you need to BE a friend. watch others and pick one or 2 that you would like to get to know better. It i kind of like finding a boyfriend.

Then it is as simple as saying " I noticed you ike tuna fish.Do you like sushi too? and start the conversation. Good luck

just be yourself:)
I'll be your friend forget them!
i know its heard at school to work and go to school but if you get a little job you can make friends really ez that way. people that you work with are all ways open to getting to know the new people they work with. you know
join a greek organization. seriously ull have so many friends you wont know what to do =) and theres always something to do.

however it will most likely be a challenge to pledge although i dunno how its done at ur school.
Ask one of the people you speak to if they'd like to join you for pizza or something one night. You can get to know each other over a meal. If they say they can't, don't let it bother you. Just ask someone else. Once you get someone to accept, (and you will) talk about what interests the other person, not about yourself. People love to talk about their own interests and life. They'd rather do this than hear about yours. Good luck.
